Nosotros just bought our vehicle concluding fall. My wife and daughter were budgeted a crosswalk with children crossing and a crossing baby-sit going almost 35 km/hour. The brakes jotted but did not finish and information technology steering into other on coming lane. Took it to Nissan dealer and they can find no mistake codes on diagnostic reckoner check. This is crazy unsafe. Also bought new tires to get winter traction. Zero traction happened. Dealer: "not sure why?". If someone gets hurt Nissan will certainly hear from legal folks. This is a United states of america van bought in Canada so when I call Nissan they say "oh sorry the warranty is valid in the Us for The states vehicles". When I phone call Nissan Canada they say "sorry we cannot warranty a United states vehicle at Cdn dealers". Nissan as information technology seems has a blocking and tackling plan to reduce later sales expenses. No more Nissans in my family or any generation later on mine............. assuming we alive past this vehicle. I take saved printouts of all checks to the vehicle.

I'g in the procedure of documenting dates & repairs with cost but since we have bought the 2007 Quest NEW - we have had troubles. Minor to some but major to owners; cup holders in dorsum - bankrupt 2 twice - 1 time the dealer fixed after I wrote a letter. Brakes & tires are very plush and often. But over the warranty - timing chain along with the other parts had to be replaced. Nissan would not repair. Now less than 4 yrs - I'grand told timing chain needs replaced. Also had control arm/ball joint, ability steer pump drive belts, bearings. Doors stick - especially sliding doors. Automatic door rattled. Driver's window would act up. Come up down on its own or wouldn't go down. Nosotros wanted a Nissan because of our previous 2 vehicles were Nissan and had dandy luck with them. Unfortunately not the example hither. I've seen on a few websites I'1000 not solitary on these problems. Then frustrating.

I purchase a brand new 2013 Nissan Quest sv. I accept now owned it for 1 year and the tires which are bridgestone turanza are wore out at 15,000 miles. The dealership where I purchase got bought out and at present I take it to the new one for service. I told the service manager the problem he said it needed alignment. When they put information technology up in the rack the van was aligned. Then he said did not know why it was doing that. He said he would call me on Mon. It's been a month and still has not contacted me. I chosen Nissan consumer affairs and I spoke with someone and also said I was going to be contacted and never did. I would like to know if anyone has had this problem in the past and what they do to resolve it. This is frustrating to have a vehicle at 15,000 miles and thinking of replacing tires.

I got my 2004 Quest in 2007. I needed a van for my son was disabled and in a wheelchair. People said stay away from Dodge and Chrysler for they had transmissions issues. I got it used and it was skillful till 50,000 miles, the fuel pump went. Got that stock-still and it was all downhill from at that place. Had to replace the bike bearings, the cd player went, the right side passenger door doesn't open up very well, I had to fix the arms in the front. Then the other day, the line to the transmission snapped. Thank God my son was not in the car @ the fourth dimension. My mechanic fixed it, and it'southward non running great. I can't really drive it for the manual is a MESS! I don't have the money to fix the manual. I have Ever changed the engine oil and the manual fluids at the proper fourth dimension.

Many, many problems with my 2007 Nissan Quest van. Bought new and had to supplant offset set of brake pads earlier 30,000 miles on dorsum and have replaced 2 more times since. Also had to supervene upon fronts at about 45,000 miles and have just replaced again not too long ago. As well at almost 63000 miles and one month later on 5-year warranty was up, the manual started acting up one time tranny oil got warm. Took into the dealership and was told engine mounts were bad and and so was the front end intermission. Had my personal mechanic look at information technology and he told me he thought trans was bad, but would change engine mounts anyway. After $800 plus dollars this did nothing.

Transmission has progressively gotten worse until it got so bad it finally coded bank check engine low-cal. It now has 81000 miles and the dealership Now says tranny is bad and will replace for $3800 and they also now tell me that the timing chain and tensioners need to be replaced.... another $1400 plus the front break of form is fifty-fifty worse!!!! I bought this Nissan Van for sole purpose of their reliability and wait what I got.

Various members of my family and myself included have had zippo simply practiced look with Nissan, just I Volition NEVER Buy another Nissan. Unfortunately I don't have the resources to claiming this farther, but I know it is a lemon and looking online my vehicle is not the but 1!

We purchased a 2011 Nissan Quest just over a year ago. It merely hit 30k miles. On our way to Tennessee, we noticed our van felt like it was swaying in the dorsum end. Nosotros assumed information technology was just the wind from being in the mountains. On our way dwelling house, the dorsum tire blew out. After nosotros inverse information technology, we noticed the tire was very worn and a cupping blueprint was on both of the back tires. I called the dealership, as soon equally they opened. I told them what had happened. They informed me that I failed to have it aligned, and it was my responsibleness to supervene upon the tires.

I had to supplant my whole front suspension. I take no traction. In winter I've been stuck in 1 inch of snowfall. Unbelievably I take to put more money into the tires now and more into my suspension. My mechanic doesn't know why in that location is clanking noise in front end even so and the steering problems are awful.

I think a course activeness suit should be filed confronting Nissan for their transmissions, brakes, rotors and tires. I take a 2007 Nissan quest and I have experienced almost of these complaints, from the tires to the air conditioner to the transmission. My van is sitting in my driveway right at present because my mechanic is baffled. Similar another dissatisfied customer stated, correct after the warranty expires on the transmission, it goes!!! Another affair, it sucks in the winter, cannot climb the slightest loma, slides downwards loma, no traction at all.

Nosotros have endemic a 2005 Nissan Quest since November 2009. We were expecting our tertiary babe and needed to upgrade from our Nissan Xterra. When nosotros bought it, it had 129,000 miles on information technology. In that 5 years, information technology just now has 152,000 miles on it. We put new tires on in 2012. The restriction pads demand to be replaced oft. I read this is because the brakes are likewise small for the van but information technology isn't a huge upshot. My hubby puts them on for me so it'south very inexpensive. Someone installed an aftermarket dvd player in listen and as a upshot with the dvd role player wired into the radio, the radio is spotty sometimes in rural area. But this was the fault of the former owner, not Nissan. I could probably have the dvd thespian removed since we don't utilise it just I just haven't messed with information technology yet.

This yr (the 5th yr owning it) was the first year we've washed any mechanical piece of work to it. I turned into my gravel driveway and the van only died. It was like lights out. We sent it to the mechanic to discover out what the deal was and equally information technology turned out, a fuse fell out. Pretty easy fix. Except the mechanic noted the knocking sound when the van started up that I had been hearing for most a month prior as well. Virtually of my belts were worn and since nosotros'd never washed any mechanical piece of work earlier, we were fine with fixing those things. So we had the timing chain, water pump, a few belts and a new fuse put in. With labor information technology was $1500. Considering that'southward the simply work we've put into information technology, I'm pretty happy with that. Got the van back and information technology ran great. Have already driven information technology all over the land again with no issues. Hopefully she'll keep running groovy for a few more years before we upgrade.

We bought a 2005 Nissan Quest in July 2012. The dealership insisted that we bring the car dorsum afterwards a month to install a GPS arrangement that the lender requires this for all leased vehicles. Mind you, this is not a GPS for my employ, only for the Lender to know where the vehicle is at all times and can shut your engine down if you neglect to make your payments. We take never missed one payment. After this GPS organization was installed, the van wouldn't become faster than 40 mph.

Once I got it dwelling house, I had a mechanic cheque information technology out and come to find out the dealership who installed this GPS didn't complete it properly and left many things unplugged causing very little power. I had it corrected and it seemed to be driving fine. At present it is July 2014 and the van will suddenly without alarm of any kind only shut downwards. This has happened oft and when this happens, the "Slip" lite will come on. We have no idea what this light ways but also the "check engine" light comes on as well.

Nosotros take regularly done oil changes and maintained the vehicle, bought brakes, new tires, etc. simply no major problems, until this happened. We accept no idea if this is a fuel filter affair or a major engine failure. We have it at the shop to have it checked and repaired. ;) Also the weather condition stripping on the driver side sliding door came loose, and when opening the side door, the strip only hangs there and when we tried to shut the door a calorie-free on the dashboard indicator says the door is ajar. We finally figured out how to get it to close and just don't use that door at all. The Dealer we bought the van from is no longer in business and now nosotros will have to pay another dealership to repair it. The Play a joke on has never worked and we were merely given one set of keys. This vehicle looks squeamish but I would not recommend anyone to buy it.

It'southward a very dainty family unit van with a big room to take your kids comfy. The Ac is cracking, the cd histrion working practiced, and if y'all just do a regular maintenance y'all volition be able to keep it for a long time.

My 2011 Nissan Quest Original Tires take all one at a time diddled out on the highway. Each time I take had to purchase new because the dealer stated that warranty would not cover because my vehicle needed alignment. My Quest has less than 30000 miles on it and I have it serviced at each recommended interval but nonetheless they said information technology was an alignment issue. No one will listen and information technology has become very plush to continue purchasing tires. No recalls on the Toyo tires still. With each blow out I have been able to safely pull off the hwy; however, now I'm afraid to drive my children in the Quest, experience like I won't be so lucky side by side time.

I purchased a 96 Villager in 2012 from the original owner, a lady, who had maintained information technology well. Her records indicated she spent $8,000 for the 16 years she collection it. On a trip I drove the speed limit for 485 miles (per Mapquest) and got 29 mpg. She had reset the mechanical odometer while driving and broke it at 210,000 miles dorsum in 2008. Based on past usage, I call up the van now has virtually 297,000 miles on it. Manual shifts smooth as glass. It needs some front cease piece of work finally, some leather and a paint task. I tin't complain. Possibly they don't build them like they used to.

Our 2004 Nissan Quest stalls for no apparent reason. Very unsafe. We were on the thruway and the vehicle lost all ability and while engine was all the same running, it would not movement. Traffic was moving at over 70 mph and nearly colliding with us. We had to have this vehicle towed several times to try and have fixed. Nevertheless Nissan cannot effigy out the issue. Much money has been invested to repair and notwithstanding it sits not being able to drive. No one will help.... not Nissan, not the chaser general, no ane. Someone is going to exist seriously hurt driving a Nissan product and they don't care. Please never purchase a Nissan product.

We purchased a make new 2011 Nissan Quest after owning a previous Quest for 8 years with limited issues. The previous Quest had issues where the brakes would wearable off a lot but I thought it was due to our driving habits. Now in this new Nissan inside 10 months and under 10K miles, my both front tires wore off. I was shocked as that has never happened to us earlier. Typically the tires last for 50K miles. So I went to the dealer and he never listened and said, "Your wheel alignment has caused it and so you need to replace your tires but nosotros will practise the wheel alignment for free."

I too noticed my mileage meter was always showing same mileage at 17.3 thou/g. So they said they will fix it. At present one year later and at 23K miles, again all iv tires have no tread left. Call back two of the iv are only 14K miles former. This is ridiculous! I am going to the dealer in Dublin/CA today and hope for a resolution. I would love to hear from someone else with this effect or from Nissan every bit I have now trusted Nissan for concluding 15 years by purchasing Nissan and Infiniti cars.

My ECU computer has rusted through. Evidently Nissan did not put it in a area that would protect it from the pelting. It literally has a hole rusted thriough it! To find a replacement is like looking for a needle in a haystack. If you put the part from Nissan you lot are talking 875.00 merely for the part, labor actress. So if your car just decides to die and then commencement again watch out there goes your computer! Now the major trouble before this was a "ticking" noise in the engine. My wonderful Nissan dealership said information technology would exist about 3000.00 for a new engine... It ending up costing me 1300.00 from a mom and pop shop, it was a little plastic slice that bankrupt off a belt. Information technology's really common with this vehicle and if it totally breaks, you will be replacing an engine!

Bought a used 2006 Quest from Springfield NJ Nissan in 2009 - a calendar week after the control artillery needed replacement. Dealer graciously offered me another 2006 in better shape for same price. Command artillery went on 2d Quest. Not covered in warranty. The brakes and tires wearable apace and van shudders at loftier speeds. At 8-twelvemonth-old the van has 78,000 miles. There was a rattling I thought was a unproblematic chugalug. Turned out to exist a gunk build up in the engine hydraulics oil - $yard repair, mostly to take apart engine to get to the problem. Mechanic said he had seen similar problems before. This car sucks.

My husband was driving my daughter habitation in our 2004 Nissan Quest (72K miles) and the driver airbag deployed west/o crusade. He didn't striking anything or run over annihilation nor did he hit his brakes prior to the airbag exploding. The airbag burned and cutting his hands and virtually caused him to black out and have an accident, merely my daughter's screams brought him out of the shock. Nissan has had the vehicle for 4 weeks and but called to say they aren't responsible for repairing the vehicle b/c the sensors determined that the van was going to have an blow b/c something dented the muffler. I live in the northeast and have probably hit a thousand potholes which could have acquired a dent in the muffler. I wouldn't look a dented muffler to cause an airbag to deploy and refuse to ever drive a Nissan vehicle again if that's how their condom system operates.

When my husband questioned their safety system they said we could file information technology with our insurance company but I'm sorry, that's not practiced enough. My husband needs the van to get to work and has been relying on getting a ride for four weeks, that's unacceptable! The public needs to know that Nissan is satisfied with putting their customers in danger b/c their sensors recognize a dented muffler as an impact. That's unacceptable. I will not allow my family to go in that van e'er again for fright that it may crusade future injury or death, and I will never purchase another Nissan. If corporate is and so comfy with the airbag, perhaps they should bulldoze their kids around in my van? I bet they would decline. They have no soul for knowing that people are getting hurt and more could become injured or die.

I was and so glad to see the other reviews listed. I thought I was the but one with Quest issues. The van we have was purchased with 6 miles on it from a dealer in Kennesaw, GA, June 2005. 3 months after the purchase we needed to buy tires. Goodyear was on strike so we could not find any ties to fit the van. This is when we realized this was the just manufacture tire to fit this van. Not a great way to start. Issues with the radio tuning to "any" information technology felt the demand - told they had never seen the problem, must exist mistaken. Within the commencement xviii months nosotros had to put on 4 sets of tires. The engine was moving - had to purchase brackets to go on the engine in place. Rotors - three sets, oil pan/organisation replaced. The air vents fall out of the ceiling when you make a turn. The window, driver's side, may or may not whorl up. Muffler problems - told (1st 6 months) it was rusted and that is normal, nothing could be washed. Dash lights go in/out. Now the manual & service light came on today.

I will NEVER buy a Nissan again and my family has had many over the years that have lasted over 200,000 miles, which is why this buy was made. I take the oil changed every 3,000 miles and tires rotated - every fourth dimension time I get in a new problem is plant. I cannot afford to repair or purchase a new car, non sure what I do.

Nosotros bought a 2004 Quest with but 42,000 miles on it dorsum in 2008. It was comfy to drive in and sit on just that's about all I can say nice. This is our experience over the past 5 years. Supplant Brakes and Rotors constantly (because they shudder), two-3 times a twelvemonth demand replacing. Air Status went at 45,000 miles. Fuel pump went at l,000 miles. YES!!!! Tires are hard to notice and simply last 1 year!!!! Tie Rods replaced. Engine leaks oil ane quart every three weeks. This just started. Nosotros have 140,000 on it. Research says I need to replace o-rings. We will endeavor that this weekend while we are doing brakes again. Sliding door doesn't work on one side and the other side we have to slam it shut.

Constant vibration noises inside car when y'all drive. Sounds like information technology'southward falling apart. Tire sensors were a joke. Constantly went off. Nosotros had them removed. Need alignments every 8 months. This car is a coin eater information technology's a joke, particularly when you have 4 kids! I need a function time job to pay for all the repairs and feed the teenagers! Never once more, Nissan!!!!! Never! I wish they would stand by their product and pay the states for all the money we soaked into this vehicle. It'south not saleable!!! Don't buy this van!!!!!! We normally drive our minivans to 200,000 earlier replacing them. This van won't arrive. Mechanics tell us all the time to junk information technology.

Saw a similar mail, so thought I would share also. Too Trans. just not being correct, my car died at a light on a decorated route with me and my two daughters. I had it towed to my mechanic (because I trust him and he has been a friend of mine for thirty years). It appears the ground wire snapped. Apparently, it had been dangling for some time and eventually wore out. When it snapped, it shorted out and caused the coils to burn down, fuel injectors to seize and blew the reckoner. In curt, I am replacing computer, fuel injectors, coils, crank and cam sensor. What pick do I take actually? Those whole situation is upsetting. Why is a ground wire hanging and if it shorts out, why does information technology blow estimator, burn coils, etc.? Should at that place not exist a mechanism in place to prevent ground wire from dangling and to protect computer from electrical shorts?

This has got to be the worst engineered vehicle. Our 2004 Nissan Quest at first was running great. We bought information technology used and we idea we landed a corking deal. When the mileage hit around the lxxx,000... this is when a lot of bug started. Here is some of them... bicycle bearings... CD player broke... ABS regulator... control arms... alternator... warping of brake rotors... interior trim falling off.. window won't roll down... at present the van stalls and dies while you're driving... It starts sometimes but it's still is too risky to drive.

I had to exercise so many things to this van on my own just to drive it... too many things to even talk almost. At present this van has been sitting in my driveway for months. I am trying to figure out what is the cause of this vehicle stalling and not starting. Why take information technology to a dealer when all they will practise is drain y'all out of all your money. So I am gonna talk to my mechanic buddies and some honest repair shops and observe out what it is... so I tin can set up information technology myself similar I did with all these bug... I am stuck with this vehicle and I wish Nissan would recollect these issues before innocent people get injure.

I don't even know where to offset. Beginning off my 2011 LE quest was running out of gas if the olfactory organ was lower than the rear end, driving or parked, even when showing lxx miles left. They replaced the tank, happened once again. They replaced the pump, happened again. Went in one more fourth dimension and they said "Stock-still." Liars. I want all of you to know that THE Only THING THEY DO IS REPROGRAM YOUR Figurer TO SHOW THE TANK IS EMPTY WHEN In that location IS ACTUALLY 4 GALLONS LEFT IN THE TANK. Brand sense? If you've had the same work washed, detect how it shows you lot are out of gas and when yous fill it only takes 17 gallons. It's a 21 gallon gas tank. I talked to a service rep about this and he agreed, that's what they did, adjusted the computer because the tank and pump didn't prepare the problem.

Second, plastic dash parts squeak and coming apart. Driver side of center panel dash squeaks and pass side of nuance plastic coming autonomously. Took 3 visits to fix because they didn't replace broken clips. Third, outside door moldings loose on driver door. Replaced clips first time, fell off again. Replaced panel 2nd time merely forgot 2 sided tape (I am non kidding. These things are held on past clips and record). Third time did information technology correctly and on solid now. First prepare of crappy Kumho tires lasted until 26k. 2d prepare of tires are Nexen and they actually got skilful reviews merely because of the crappy, weak and bouncy suspension in the rear end (you all know what I'm talking about) I have to supercede another set of tires.

Quaternary, clunking racket in the front end when accelerating. This concluded upwardly being lose control arm basics. Nice huh? And that has been the most recent trouble besides needing four alignments in 50k miles. I hate this damn van. I wish I could requite it back. Granted nosotros got the extended warranty on information technology to 100k but I want to get rid of it before that expires because it proves that I volition be pouring out coin into a piece of junk. I have had six Nissan vehicles and iv have been constant problems. Never again Nissan, never again. You lot lost a customer this time for sure.

Purchased a 2007 Nissan Quest from Nissan used dealer at 7 Corners. They told me they would prepare all the problems that I saw or plant. They fixed them sort of to get past. I needed transportation to become to work, no public transportation. They wanted me to finance thru them. When they called me to sign my rate went from 6% to 12 %. I told them that I would wait on the credit wedlock (they were non happy) saying that my credit was not skilful enough. Evidently they didn't care. The credit union came thru with three.4%.

I should have listen to my son and not bought this Quest. I agree with the other customers, I probably will not purchase another Quest at all. My 1995 Quest was excellent, nonetheless quiet and rolling with 350,000 miles on information technology. Would accept still had it if information technology was non in an accident and totaled by the insurance company. My 2007 Quest is making a scraping sound on the correct side when I go over unleveled road or bumps in the route. No mechanic has constitute the problem, it only started well-nigh ii months ago. Motor mounts break, rotors need to replace, tire calorie-free stays on!!! Do not purchase this year, or deal with the Ford/Nissan dealership at Seven Corners, Virginia. They were non dainty after the bargain for the Quest went thru!!!!

We brought our 2007 Nissan Quest, which nosotros bought brand new in 2006, into CarX in Loveland, Ohio, on Marriage Cemetery Rd. because I had bought an alternator for information technology, and afterwards a quick look, decided that this was too big a task for the driveway. They replaced the alternator (with only 64,000 miles on it) at a reasonable price, and even used the alternator that I had already bought.

In addition to that job, I asked them to take a expect at the traction bar bushings while it was on the rack because we had clunking in the front end when hitting bumps. They did and all looked well. During the test bulldoze, they found out that both lower command arms were bad and that the timing chugalug was making a bunch of noise. We had all that stock-still for $3,000.00, x times the repair bill we were expecting! Merely, it all had to exist washed and nosotros idea it was worth it because we now had a solid car that should last for several years.

3 weeks later on...complete shut downwardly on the interstate, just equally we entered a very narrow, long and curvy exit ramp. Later throwing it in North, turning on the hazard lights and trying to get-go it frantically while negotiating the curves and tailgaters for a one/4 mile, another exit ramp merged in from our passenger side and information technology just happened to exist clear. And so, we shot beyond it, at a snails pace, and got into the right side breakdown lane. I called a friend who graciously dropped everything at 11:00 PM on a work night and came out to rescue myself, my married woman, and my 11 year old. Give thanks god, because the idiots were out and driving 2 feet over the white line, buzzing our automobile.

Got habitation, called a tow company, met them at the car, and had it towed to CarX again. This time it was a bad #6 coil, bad ground cable from the battery, direct brusque from the 12v pos. coil wire to the signal wire which they now think fried the BCM. We have to wait another week for parts and shell out another $1,500.00 just to come across if all this fixes information technology. I Calendar month, $4,500.00 on this 2007 Nissan Quest with ONLY 64,000 miles on it! Never over again will I buy another Nissan...and that'south coming from a family with 2. I have a Nissan 370Z...Tin't wait to meet what kind of surprises wait for me when it hits 64,000 miles! Should be interesting!

On July sixteen, 2013 my 2011 Nissan Quest I was at my sis house with the van in drive before I could put it in reverse it went forrad into my sister deck I had no command it was idle very high I practical the brakes they did non finish the van I had to turn van to keep from going through her kitchen then I was caput to the ditch had to plough ignition off before it stopped. My girl and I did not get hurt. I did 3000.00 worth of damage to my sisters deck. 2800.00 to my van.

I call my local Nissan dealer later on information technology get ready they desire me to bring it to them for a diagnostic cheque if they cannot detect annihilation wrong they want me to pay.
